Balmain's spring '14 showing at Paris Fashion Week. It was all about the 80s for designer
Olivier Rousteing, who opened the show with Frankie Goes to Hollywood's "Relax(Don't Do It)" - yes, the song from
Zoolander. It was both modern in textile and vintage in silhouette at times, with houndstooth bombers, quilted denim, and even some leather overalls. The show gave off a very 80s Chanel vibe, and that is not at all a bad thing. Definitely my top pick!
