It was all about abstract graphic prints at Celine's spring '14 showcase at Paris fashion week. Creative director Phoebe Philo cited the 1930s graffiti shots of Italian photographer Brassai as inspiration, which was later translated over the large-stroke colours canvassing the models' tailored skirts, dresses and tops as they walked the runway. the label was able to be both minimalist in silhouette and maximalist in it's print.
