Don’t worry monsemblers, I will soon be tackling the mounds of shows from NYFW, but first I want to talk about designer Rachel Comey who had a different approach to her spring/summer 2014 collection. Rather than showing at a typical runway show Comey opted for an intimate dinner party at the Pioneer Works Center for Arts & Innovation in Brooklyn with a small group of friends, editors and celebrities. Comey spoke out saying, “Everyone dreads [fashion week] and you don’t want to dread it. So I got together my friends and a whole bunch of people who were doing things that were interesting to me.” Check out a few of my favorite looks!
