kenzo x paris fashion week

Last year it was the eye of the tiger, and this year it seems as if Kenzo's melting-fish will mark the brand's new notable caricature. It would come as no surprise that the leading inspiration for their spring '14 collection stemmed from the ocean; blue being the collection's main colour and with silhouettes that flow and create movement like the California current. Behind the curtain designers Humberto Leon and Carol Lim listed off a number of endangered fish before their show, later stating that they had designed a "No fishing, no nothing" slogan tee, whose portions will go to the Blue Marina Foundation. You've got to love good fashion with a cause.
