Your eyes do not deceive you, monsemblers. Those are, indeed, blue jeans that made their way down the catwalk for
Gucci's fall-winter collection at
Milan Fashion Week. While
Frida Giannini's collection included power pastels in mixed fabrics including leather, peacoats, and wonderfully outrageous fur coats, the shapes were simple and spoke to the Gucci name, Giannini stating, "I felt the need to materialize the essence of Gucci. A longing for precision [and] clean lines." Mission accomplished!
