Nicholas Ghesquiere for
Louis Vuitton since Marc Jacobs departure from the label last year. The slight a-line silhouette was this collections calling card, featuring skirts, dress and and coats in neutral tones, prints and leather. Ghesquiere undoubtedly has huge shoes to fill, but he is doing it quite well, and fashionable. And as his chair-left notes said, “Does not every designer ultimately seek to create something timeless?”
